That's sweet. It's a wonderful when nature shows you the miracle of life, rather than seeing the desperation of death everytime you look up "deer" on youtube. "Man shoots deer..."

Was this during a hunting season or before/after one? I've had a deer come up to me after hunting season, but during, they're all super spooky and will freak out over the tiniest noise.

We were simply walking the trail and happened to spot the deer just a few feet ahead. I ordered everyone to be absolutely still so I could get a pic before he ran off, but he just kept coming closer. He just came right up to us. He followed us the entire trail, playing and acting more like a dog than a deer. He even came up behind my son once and head butted him in the tush, LOL! It was pretty unbelievable, a once in a lifetime experience.
