Kudos to you for attempting this one! I'm digging your thrown-in improvisation parts (especially during the Bach-influenced middle section) and that bass of yours is a great one, that's for sure. Your left hand is EXCELLENT but you need to work a bit on your right hand, especially in order to make the strokes more even (both in volume and in time). There are also a couple of wrongly transcribed parts, like the end of the chorus (low G#, not C#) and the last note before the ending A (D, not G#).

That was awesome!!!

@Daniel1928XT Tom Walling was the drummer for that album :) Thomas Miller was the bass player. He left because he had health problems.

i have mad respect for bass players, but especially bass players who can play symphony x :D

This is why i always say: Why Tom Walling left the band? His bass shreds are Sick!

Holy Shit!!!
Man, even the real bassist of symphony x doesn't play all of it live. (Especially the 5:17 moment).
Excellent.
You are sloppy on some parts, (you can recognize which ones), keep practicing this and you can replace the sx bassist.
:)
What is that bass??? I cannot recognize it...

by the way, when you play Symphony X what tuning do you play in? Because when I tune my 6 string down to A i find the strings are a bit too floppy.. And that's with a 35" scale!

My bass is D tuned, thus my strings are not floppy while playing. What do you mean when you say 35" scale?
