Campus Evacuation Exersise at Kealakehe high school

April 20th 2006, Kealakehe High school holds its first annual Campus Evacuation Exersise. This is a news report-style video that covers the general situation.
This was a big project. The first of it's style ever produced in Kealakehe. During the evacuation, we had 6 specially authorized crew members out on the field, (Alvin, Ikaika, Scot, Richard, Raymond, and Ariel) with a total of 4 cameras, filming all angles plus any and all aspects and details of the exersise. It was a pretty intense experience. We got tons of shots of people leaving class, and walking down the road, plus interviews from students, school officials and police officers. After purging out the best of almost 2 hours worth of footage, we mustered together this 2-minute video covering the event. Complete with voice overs, and a rather EPIC conclusion!

Nah, if it was a shooter, they'd do a Lockdown and keep everyone indoors. Evacuation is for chemical spills, or other unforeseen emergencies. And for this exercise, there were tons of security measures taken. Cops are all over the place, making sure nothing would happen during the practice.

I wouldn't know... I've graduated already so it didn't concern me, but I'm pretty sure they're REQUIRED. Many of the law enforcers were further up and down the roads for my year.

Ah, there were cops all over the place. They had the whole area completely surrounded and investigated looong before hand.

@Blucham hmmm...i don6 remember doing that last year...maybe it happened when i was "sick" i dunno. schools crap now though, horrible subs teachers are getting worse we got a segway for some reason, and security still does nothing
