You can see Shasta from Thomson...it's near Due East. Been a few years since I was up there, but either the clouds are in the view, or his video started just south of the Shasta view.

@trwent: technically the Trinity Alps are part of the Klamath mountains which are technically geologically distinct from the Coast Ranges.

@GodfreRayKing Shasta's in the Cascades. These are the Trinity Alps, part of the Coast Mountains. The Cascades are farther east.

sloping down to the left (at the very beginning
of the clip) ?
