Its also got a far more workable engine that star Trek Legacy, and judging by the demo's you guys are putting out for this, Legacy sure as hell isn't letting you make graphical leaps in the models.

not so much it may be old, BUT it makes up for that with its modding community, AND that you can actually slice the ships apart >:D
STL doesn't do that does it?

i do own STL for the PC it sucks worse than a vacuum in space :P

The USS Defiant TOS is in 1.0 and 1.5 - not the ghost version. I am working on an Exploration mission to include the Defiant and Tholians - that should make it to UUM 2.0 ..
