There is a lot more studies around that einstein is good for babies. Anything in over load can be harmful. If a child only read all day then that could be bad if they got no sun and excerise. That doesn't mean kids can read !!!

Whatever- I doubt this video was made to start a controversy... they just probably figured out tv works in the middle of the night when he wont stop crying and had fun with it!

I am sure they are not promoting over exposure to tv in kids... they just were probably making light of the sleep deprivation.

I read this study that proves that Baby Einstein really messes up kids' long term cognitive development. It might not show up in early years, but it certainly does later on. Forget "reading level" and all those stupid school measures - they are worthless. I mean REAL intelligence (social & cognitive) - the type that makes you a LEADER, an ACHIEVER rather than a dumb passive consumer.

Anyone who thinks TV can educate babies is out of their tiny little minds - shame for their kids though LOL!

You really need to be able to review and analyse all the research literature before you can make such sweeping conclusions. Study results alone cannot be taken as gospel. They often contradict each other, they may be biased, they may have been carried out inadequately, on a small sample size or under crappy test conditions. There may be a study done someday that shows how beneficial these videos are, but you shouldn't pick and choose results to suit your views.
