This is the SNES version of the most over-hyped game of its day - Rise of the Robots. Whilst the media were initially knocked sideways by the incredible graphics and animation that was previewed, they weren't quite so enthusiastic when they saw the finished article. This is a basic beat-em up lacking any kind of depth or excitement. The graphics haven't aged particularly well either. One to avoid.

To be honest I can't be arsed to say anything remotely interesting or witty about it. This is a request by JR Hartley or possibly Ernest Bognine from beyond the grave... which is quite a feat considering he's still alive and kicking at the moment apparently. Quick, fetch me a pillow...

  • I speak like this to annoy and befuddle Johnny Foreigners like yourself for it amuses me just a little.

  • Wow, this game was wank.

"I think my special move is dying" XD

  • That's how unoriginal the game is - it has the same special move as 90% of the games I play - dying. Why didn't they try something innovative instead? Like make it impossible to lose, or if you hit x 16 times and y 43 times, before pressing up, down, left, left, left, right, circle, restart, all within 2 seconds, that Patrick Moore as the Games Master pops up and gives you a telling off for trying to cheat, before turning your character into a Russell Hobbs kettle. That is the future of gaming!

  • @Kizuii Whats wrong with this? British people aren't colored so it's okay to talk smack about them, duh.

  • Retro Gamer covers this in the latest issue (The game not confusing Johnny Foreigners).

They pretty much say how shit and overhyped this was as well.

  • i remember getting this for my birthday christ knows how many years ago and being so excited i could have wee'd myself, and then i played it. i have never been to dissapointed with a game in my entire life, it was total donkey spunk

  • Thanx for the video, I had a real good laugh and I love your accent !

  • Yea I remember watching that and finding myself strangely attracted to her just a little, although her lisp still annoyed me greatly. Which makes me wonder how people put up with my mumbling!

I also recall the lasses from Bits going on to other things on satellite TV. Wasn't that American one fucking annoying as hell? Emily Booth turned into a very minor porn star. She has three fans other than her cousins and probably still has her own website where you can buy Booth used knickers.

  • She also did a videogame review show about 5 years back on Bravo. She inexplicably now has massive jugs!

  • That was called Bad Influence
