46010 test run

A video showing the fire up and test runs of 'Peak' class 46010.
The loco had been out of traffic from 2007-2009 pending repairs and a full body overhaul, which will now be carried out at the GCRN.
Hopefully the loco will now have a brighter future ahead and it will be looked after by a small group of former LDG members ( and hopefully some new members too ).

I'm 15 and a train fan in the USA

and personally think old trains have more carictor, more color, more life

Exspiceally steam engines

the new ones are basically silent, boring, and one color maby a stripe if your lucky

You guys in Europe don't know how well you got it

All I really see is a yard of rusting boxcars and I get to see an empty cole train about once a year

cracking vid nice to see a peek still creeking around, hope she is still with us, these engines knock socks off todays supposed progress trains, love these, 47, 37, 40, 45, 25, 31, etc, and especially love the deltics, give me them days back anytime
