Let me tell you the truth: Personality is ALWAYS the most important aspect of people. I can't stand shallow people who look attractive on the outside but are egotistical and selfish on the inside. A woman like that may be popular with the guys, but no one will like her as a person.

We often don't just come out and admit our feelings to a woman because of two reasons: 1) Doing so is often seen as overaggressive and can scare a woman away. Some women are timid and automatically assume the guy is a stalker or a rapist.
2) Being that open can come across as desperate, which means a quick trip to the Friend-Zone.
Basically the whole thing is a huge pain in the ass. Plus the guy has to decide what he needs more: pussy or keeping his money.
