It is the story of a deviant (sufi) who spends his time asking protection from dead people (instead of Allah SWT) burried in shrines, thinking they hear his prayers and answer, and he often pretends that he makes hajj, nearly every month, but this is impossible, because hajj is only in the last month of the islamic year : Dhul-Hijja.

He pretends that angels or some beings come (as a honoring from Allah) to take him to Makkah flying... so he pretends being a 'Waly', a friend of God.

this is why he was punished during a dream...
