Here is my third entry in the challenge to myself to clean for 4 weeks and record my reflections of doing it. I'm an ex non cleaner who suffered from being unorganized and hoarding; both symptoms of anxiety. Last week I challenged myself to put things away all throughout the week and not save everything for the weekend, well I did that and find out what happened. I also had thoughts where I didn't want to clean today, find out how I overcame that. I give myself a new challenge for next week.
Cleaning is not about the cleaning its about developing and maintaining healthy habits, where I feel good, and can have an inviting space where I can feel good, honoring myself and others.

  • Habbit is something that you don't know you're doing. The second you realize you're doing it becomes a choice.

  • i d'ont understand beacause you speak english but i watcha all your video because your are very beautifil & lovely

  • Do you still workout after cleaning for 4 hours or do you consider cleaning your activity for the day? I do get on a cleaning roll for a couple of hours and when I am done I am exhausted.

  • PS: I would love to see how your smart mop you talk about in this video works. I have never even heard of it.

  • I own a cleaning biz & have for about 25 yrs now. The biggest tip I can give you is this: Make a list of ALL the big cleaning chores - windows, scrubbing carpets, walls, closets etc. Then do 1 a week or every other week or even 1 time a month, depending on how often the items need cleaned, 1,2, or 3 times a year and then if you keep them cycled like this you never need to do "spring" cleaning again. BTW - I think you are doing great with this :)

  • this is a wonderful video. so true. tHANK YOU!

  • how doo u take off the rubber gloves

  • So true that it is about developing healthy habits. I find that doing chores during the week little by little it doesn't take me as long on the weekends as well. A trick that I do is while I am watich an evening program, during the commercials I run and do some laundry or unload the dishwasher and see if I can do it before my program comes back on...it also gets your heart rate pumping so you burn calories!

  • Wednesday is my goal for a cleaning evening. I am studying for a test right now so I am putting it off.

I want to put things in their place all the time. However, I need to get rid of a lot of things so I have places to put things!

I loved the swiffer. However, I have read things that says it is bad for pets and kids so I stopped using it.

I am interested in the mop you got now.

I think I changed my mind. I think I will go ahead and do a few cleaning chores :)
