Siamese Fighting Fish Chasing Platy Around the Aquarium :D

Brought home a new betta this past week. He did a lot of hiding his first night; after being kept in a cup of water at the store, wasn't quite sure what to make of the new surroundings, a 20 gallon tank and lots of tank-mates. Guess he's feeling more at home now, as the platy seems to have irked him for some reason. :D Good looking fish though, I love bettas.

Nope, no tiger barbs. I've always liked those, but have always hesitated to get any, don't want to chance any that come pre-labeled as "semi-aggressive" at the store. The betta chasing the platy around was kind of a rare thing; we've got that same mix of fish (platys/guppies/betta) in two different tanks, and for the most part they all get along. :) Most aggressive fish in the other tank is actually our algae eater, go figure. :D

are those tiger barbs? they can get VERY nippy with betta fins. also, bettas aren't too fond of colorful fish, like platy and guppies. he'd be best in his own tank, or he could kill your other fish, or the barbs could very well kill him!
