"We Are The Tide", the new album by Blind Pilot is out September 13, 2011. This is their third album, and the featured song, "New York", is the final track.
Please note this is the unofficial music video. However, it is officially unofficial because the band contacted me and asked me to put unofficial in the title.
This music video was filmed over the course of a week in New York. It was directed by Freddie Paull who has also directed music videos for:

@SirFredPaull I'm from Brooklyn, New York. I remember the night Lennon went down. I saw and felt the day the The Towers went down. I'm seeing The Freedom Tower Go Up. I'm seeing and hearing a band called Blind Pilot that's certainly on their way up! I'm sure that's what John Lennon would have wanted too. I'm thinking of driving up to Bearsville Theater in Woodstock to see Blind Pilot. Did you know that Todd Rundgren once owned that theater. He also had a label called Bearsville.

Had a weird experience with this song. I had just finished watching the John Lennon Documentary Gimme Some Truth, and dozed off. I left the television on, and this song was on a tv program and I heard it in my head as I was in a light sleep. It felt like John Lennon was singing this to me in a dream. I jumped up from my sleep, and heard an anouncer say muic by Blind Pilot! I jumped on Youtube to find this song. I found it. Saw the Dakota and Strawberry Fields and cried. I remember that night.

@AppleMan531 Thanks so much for sharing this. It's still hard to watch the footage of the Dakota and Strawberry Fields, and was even harder when we were filming there. I couldn't help but cry... Our world could use John right now.
