A journey by train to Doncaster. Listen to the announcement just before arriving at Market Rasen. The conductor is well-known in these parts and is a genuinely good all round nice bloke.

  • I really enjoyed your video! A great and simple way to show a section of England. It definitely helped being a fine summer's day. Thanks!

  • I appreciate that. Very often railway enthusiasts are a boring lot and only seem to be interested in numbers (slightly worrying). I don't fall into that category. I enjoy the journeys and the trains but do not get obsessive about any of it.

  • To clarify this further: it was a 158 from Lincoln to Grimsby and then a 185 Transpennine unit to Doncaster.

  • It was a 158

  • @epcotcentre i'm not familiar with these services. i just get the one that goes via gainsborough and saxilby. often just to go to gainsborough. don't know what number it is. just get on it haha. i love train journeys, used to longer ones from doncaster to inverness and back but the local ones are my favourite.

  • they run 158's from lincoln to grimsby? is this in addition to the 156's?

  • What unit was that filmed on.
