  • George is an incredible interviewer, seriously, watch his other interviews. I've seen so many people do them and there's just nothing like his. He knows a LOT about every topic he covers during the interview and actually interacts and.. I'll stop ranting but, he's really good.

  • He never once mentions John Deacon! What the hell?

  • I saw Brian, Roger and Paul at the Nelson Mandela-celebration 2008. In my opinion I've not seen Queen, I've seen 50% of Queen. To me Queen IS Brian, Roger, Freddie and John :-)

  • what a fucking great interviewer, he really looks like he cares about their opinions and he actually, wait for it ... LISTENS to his interviewees. unlike most who just look like they are thinking about the next question, he seems really to know his stuff. They deserve it after the shit interviews they've had to sit through in their time.

  • @MartynTheSpartyn The lack of mentioning Deacon in the introduction was of course a mistake. I just think it's funny how angry people get.

  • @simonwedege A lot of this interview wasnt just about Queen + Paul Rogers, and they couldnt simply mention his name in the beginning? I honestly dont think it would have been that hard to do.

  • @MartynTheSpartyn He was a part of the original band. But he's not a part of the "Queen + Paul Rogers"... or even when May and Taylor played with Robbie Williams, which Deacon wasn't happy about.

  • @simonwedege he's still a HUGE part of the band...

  • @amortussique Relax. Deacon retired in 1997 and didn't even show up at the Hall of Fame induction in 2001.

  • Brian May, Roger Taylor, Freddie Mercury, and JOHN DEACON!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they say no regrets, then later in '10 interview with some thames university media guy, brian regretted they didn't take better care of freddie (!)

  • Brian May, in addition to using his home-made guitar that he put together himself when he was 16, he prefers to use coins (especially a sixpence from), instead of a more traditional plastic picks, on the basis that their rigidity gives him more control in playing. He is known to carry coins in his pockets specifically for this purpose.
