During our stay at Madikwe Safari Lodge (a CCAfrica managed luxury camp) in the North-West of South Africa, the week of September 10, we were charged by a cow elephant.
One moment we were watching the elephants at the side of the road and the next the ranger started maneuvering the vehicle unexpectedly (you'll see the video only shows grass at this point).
Then suddenly we realized why, the elephant was right on top of us, probably no more 10 meters away charging and trumpeting at us.
there is nothing wrong with madikwe elephants... i live on the reserve and never had a problem... the guide is the problem...
