meh, for $500, I can get a real laptop with a core i3, 4gb ram, and 300gb hard drive that will run a real OS, Windows 7, real software like office, as well as chrome.

If google wanted bigger penetration, google should release chrome OS as a linux type distro so people can dual boot.

This video was an early product review recorded 5 months ago. Read the user review since then. The Chromebook is a failed experiment. It is just a glorified netbook. Instead of wasting $350 on this limited device you might as well spend another $100 and buy a full notebook computer that does so much more. Or just pay less than the Chromebook, buy a netbook, and still have more functionality!
