clickertraining or shaping...that's the way to teach them! my aussie is getting up there in tricks now...we can learn something in about 2-3 weeks, usually quicker depending on how much time i have to work with her. try to avoid the food lure as much as possible.

border collies are highly trainable, at any age you can teach them tricks if you do it properly, and stick to it. border collies are used to having "jobs" and are very energetic, you shouldnt have a problem ;)
