  • I love being on the waterside of the plane during landings in Honolulu.

  • Unless you check the forecast beforehand (and it doesn't change over the course of the 8 hour+ flight) you can't count on which direction they land! I try not to set in the middle on Hawaii-bound flights in any case. Overnight trips eastbound, different story.

  • I was also on American Airlines flight 73 from ORD-HNL. I flew on Sunday, June 10, 2007.

    It was a Boeing 767-300.

  • Sadly American's ORD-HNL flights are R.I.P. now.

Hi, the economy cabin on the 767 has tv monitors throughout the cabin, as in one per every several rows. Each seat does not have an individual monitor.

Have a great flight, enjoy your trip to HAWAII!

  • @railmatt no their not, fligtht 73still alive

  • @LAL1029 I'll travel to HNL by feb 2011, does all the seats have tv monitors or just the 1st Class??

  • @railmatt
