    It is amazing lens. I use it on my Canon 7D, and it is my all purpose walk around lens. @oldwins if you want to compere it to Nikon 55-200, compere it at 200mm not 270mm

    How does this compare to the Nikon 55-200 lens at the upper end? I know people here slam this lens but lets get real, who has thousands of dollars to spend on lenses, not to mention carrying them around, and actually changing them all the time. Who cares if you have the best lenses but never take them with you when it's too much trouble; absolutely useless.
