  • I sang this aria on concert in july 2009.Before I used this video as a "model" for good singing of this aria. (I hope I learned something from it,) I put a video with Komm in die Gondel ,as "karifrid" on youtube yesterday and I hope that it will give me some concert jobs in future. I know some operetta arias and a lot of opera arias "by heart" Also 9 opera tenorparts. I am known for a secure high C .(If someone CAN have a "secure high C " ).

Wery good! Perhaps the most beautiful singing of this aria I have heard. (I sang it on my last seven conserts but only one verse.I must learn the second verse.) Bravo Kónýa!!

    Yndisleg rödd og aría!!!

  • Pure, silvery tone and fluent singing characterize Konya's performance. As I mentioned, I once heard him live and the singing was the polar opposite of this; he was probably ill that day. Thanks, Aulic, for sending and thanks to textor1 for posting.

  • A heavenly melody, sung with marvelous golden squillo, by one of the most beautiful natural voices of the whole 1950-1980 period. Superb posting, Textor1!!

  • Beautiful....would like to hear/see more on YT
