As great as Jordan's final shot as a Bull was in game 6, this would have been a pretty nice last shot if it went in.

1:48 The ball should've gone to Kukoc. Granted, it is Michael Jordan's team but at 9/26, this was Toni Kukoc's game to win or lose especially with the way he was shooting the 3. He should've gotten the last shot.

I remember watching this game live, back in 1998, and it was a great game. I was on the edge of my seat. I was a huge Bulls fan back then, I don't think anyone can really understand just what the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan meant to the game of basketball unless they were around to witness it. I mean Michael Jordan WAS basketball. People, especially kids, viewed him as a basketball god. The Chicago Bulls were THE team, they were rock stars, the best team in all of sports.

Michael 9/26, Scottie 2/16, not acceptable as Bulls' leaders, don't just blame kukoc for the 1pt missed freethrow. The Jazz didn't really play that well except for Malone, it's the Bulls playing too poor!! I'm a Bulls fan but very unhappy for this game. Not definite but If they didn't count Harper's 24sec violation shot and take Eisley's 3pt away, Jazz was likely to win Game 6. As the series even, Bulls wouldnt have the morale to win Game 7 in Utah in front of a hostile crowd.

@jaboo82681 lol i hear you man. The Bulls never made it easy on themselves there were a lot of hard fought nail biters and stressful wins that we had during that run but, it made victory just that much more sweeter!!!!

Wow that could've been the Last Shot, I wish that was cause that would've saved me some extra stress!!! lol

interesting how the 4th qtr of game 6 went similarly but Utah's lead never got past 5 points that quarter and they even let the Bulls take 1-point leads. And in the last possession the Jazz had 5 seconds compared to the Bulls' 0.8. In both cases the teams missed the desperation three pointers. But of course it still stands...no team has ever rallied from a 3-1 NBA Finals deficit to win a series since the 2-3-2 format began in 1985.

How great was MJ? As near-impossible a situation as that was (eight-tenths remaining), I actually think more people, myself included, were surprised that he DIDN'T hit that shot than would have been surprised if he had made it.
this was a classic series one of the best NBA Finals series ever.
