It was a new 1.2TDi .. now its melted. Also, Blue Motion isn't an anal accident in a swimming pool.

I have the seat ibiza 1.2 CR TDI ( same engine as this) and i got 171 kph one time, then i had to brake, could've done a bit faster I assume but the conditions realy have to be good, wind does realy have to come from behind... That's the fastest the car will ever do tho as i've put 18" wheels on it with a 215/35 tire and i get about 150 kph now in good conditions... so guys, don't buy a 1.2 TDI! go for the 1.6 AT THE LEAST!

@mariusboy1987 Then whys there a "5" at top right of the centre display? 42 km/h per 1000rpm or so may be a little low for a diesel, but maybe not so much a 74hp 1.2-litre... though the specs on the bluemotion do call for a 4th gear that would give 167km/h at peak revs (4200)... probably appearing as 175 with the slight over-read most speedos have (and like 217km/h in eco-5th)... possibly this isn't actually a 1.2 bluemotion (where's the proof, eh?) and it's actually a normal, lower-geared car?

@fostenet il 1.2 tdi è più leggero del 1.4 tdi quindi dinamica della vettura sensibilmente migliore. Inoltre Il common rail (1.2) rispetto all'iniettore pompa (1.4) è più silenzioso, erogazione lineare (nella golf 1.9 tdi 130 con iniettore p. l'erogazione è tanto brusca da far slittare le ruote, comportamento completamente diverso su 2.0 tdi 140 c. rail).Se alludevi al fatto che questo motore sulla carta sia uguale a quello della lupo 3L di 10 anni fa,posso dirti che non è così,cambia tutto.

@Liboni85 grazie della risposta...! ma se dovessi farmi un raffronto con il precedente 1.4 tdi 3 cilindri come lo definiresti questo 1.2 tdi?
