Belly landing but I missed the fence so its good for few laughs.
I didn't fly this approach very well ;-) Scratching low I delay my approach to long for a full DBF. My plan was to fly crosswind then turn 180 parallel to the fence for the base, then turn final over the fence and land in the middle of LZ. The trouble begins when I let the glider get way deep in the field behind the fence. I start my left 180 way too deep and realize I'm in trouble and bank right into the wind immediately. The hard roll reversal causes a pretty dramatic slip and the situation goes from bad to worse as I bleed airspeed and altitude like a stuck pig. I stay prone and pointy letting the glider settle then ease it over the fence and quickly try to salvage the landing, not very well. I really can fly better than this.
...a mournful-sounding vario - as dreary as the gray day. But so neat to fly
nonetheless, and cheat that fence of a 'whack' opportunity.

Good composure with that nasty fence coming fast at what appears to be eye level.
