His holiness the Dalai Lama presented the Karma dissolving mantra for the first time in history in the Netherlands, the Hague, at his visit in 1999. Here we can listen to the musical chant version of this very special Tibetan mantra. The mantra goes like:
Namo ratna traya ya om kam kani kam kani rotsa ni rotsa ni tro tani tro tani tra sani tra prati hana sarva karma param parah ni me sarva satva nansa svaha.
Mantras, from the very first, evolved as part of an oral tradition and were meant to be "said," not read. They are essentially a phenomenon of the power of "spoken word." To make it more complete, the chanting was in rhytm and music supported the rythme of the mantra.
Mantra sung by Jan M. Keppel Hesselink, MD, PhD of the centre for emotional bodywork and hypnotherapy in Bosch en Duin, the Netherlands, info@zenbiz.nl.
although i think it is actually just a bit different/longer - namo ratna trayaya om kamkani kamkani rotsani rotsani trotani trotani trasani trasani pratihana pratihana sarva karma param para ni me sarva sattva nantsa swaha
