I think if I ever met this Cardinal in real life I would be intimidated. I don't know why though.

@HomieG75 Right, but your comment seems so irreverent. If you did not intend that, then you need to learn how to write so that you can put your true thoughts across.
-
@calihartley2010 How is my comment off base? Did you not watch the video? They talked about the efficiency and convenience of kneeling for the entire first minute.
-
@HomieG75 Well you need to think before you type and the mass is not some class room lecture that you want to be over and done wirh at the earliest so that you can watch the ball game. And I do apologize saying idiotic, but your statement was off base. However please follow your own advice.

Further more, do not insult me or anyone on this page. Everyone viewing this video is most likely a Catholic who is concerned about this issue. So watch your tongue, or rather your fingers when you type. Treat others with respect on the internet as you would if you were talking to them face to face.

@calihartley2010 I resent being called an idiot. I am an engineering student. Efficiency has been engrained in my brain. So naturally I'd support a "kneel and rail" system which is, in fact, more efficient. The reason I mentioned this is because nobody had said anything in the comments. I respect Cardinal Arinze and I respect the Sacrament of Holy Communion, which is why I kneel when I receive the blessed Sacrament.

@HomieG75 Not so that mass will be shorter, because it is more revert and humble to recive the Eucharist on your tongue. Please do not make a mockery of this great man with your idiotic statements.

@dialyt55 I'm glad Pope Benedict isn't the last Traditionalist in the Vatican! To bad our Church isn't a democracy...=( Well, hopefully the Holy Spirit will be moved by our prayers to select Cardinal Arinze...that's how Catholics "vote" lol

@pussycat565 UMMMMMMM I CARE!!!!!!!!!! And our Lord cares very much too!
Cardinal Arinze for Pope! Of course, only after a long reign by Pope Benedict!

I sincerely wish that this statement would be enforced more strongly in the area in which I live. To much of the Mass is almost Protestant and I prefer to kneel receiving the body of our Lord but am not made to feel that it is possible.
