Is the opening singer supposed to sound so off key? Like is the character in show known for singing badly? It's really noticeable.

Just so people know, this is basically a prequel to Paradise Kiss.
And I love all of Yazawa Ai's works. She usually has characters from her other mangas make cameos! So it's really fun spotting them out. Like, it was cool seeing Mikako and Tsutomu pop up in Parakiss!

risa reminds me of NANA oosaki. Yuusuke reminds me of Takumi. Mikako reminds me of NANA Komatsu. Tsutomu smtimes wears the same hat as YAsu does. And Risas boyfriend reminds me of Ren.. i love gokinjo monogatari :) so cool :)

@pongo5000 i agree but they are alike in the fact that its fashion design students and its also about love. also yusuke (the guy with the long black hair) reminds me ALOT of takumi from her series NANA so in a way its not surprising that this is by Ai Yazawa
