I wanted to try a new style for my winter rims, and instead of pinting them i wrapped them in vinyl, Costs about $10 a rim. This short video shows you how to wrap a rim quickly(sped up 3x), There really is no downfall to doing this, faster and cheaper then painting, the vinyl only weighs .4 ounces or about 50 grams. and thats spread out throughout the rim and if you dont like it then just peal it off. If you want more info or you want to buy some vinyl contact me at portabuddy@gmail.com Or come contact me at 8thcivic.com please don't send a message though youtube, I don't come here often.

Check it out on ebay for the full written DIY.

  • Also, this isn't exacly my living room. Lol, this is where we lay out large stickers for trailers, do stuff like this, its in my basement, we just laid the cheapest laminate we could find... Munch butter then working on concreet, easy to sweep up. I cut on this floor.

  • Also, I spray painted the inside of the wheel black when I was done. Just normal matte black paint. Looks better with the silver and matte black face. My summer wheels all come with a black inside. So don't worry there guys.

  • For the honda H go here

    On ebay item 220950197718 or seatch "Honda H Sticker Decal ANY COLOR Set of 4 Center Cap"

  • where do you live: i WANT THIS DONE !!

  • @Badboydeviin mississauga ontario canada

  • If you were to take your vehicle in for balancing, tire replacement, or other tire/wheel maintenance task, would the vinyl be easily disturbed from the edges along the outer rim? What about after driving in the rain? I know that the vinyl itself is quite durable, but I'm worried about those edges... What has your experience been like so far?

  • @AonGuardian i did and i had no issue at all. no problem. the edges i secured under/behind the spoke

  • @portabuddy

    will it wear out in a car wash or last in the summer.

  • @attrzz song is Rusko - Hold On (Sub Focus Remix)

  • the only thing that sucks is that ur tire is still fat ! /;

  • bad parallel parker? don't do this!

  • Love it :D

  • This is fucking legit. You're like a pro.

  • plasti dip is cheaper and it takes less time to do. I used plastidip on my srt4 rims and it was easy and quick and it looks really good. plus you don't have to worry about over spray because it comes off the rubber on the tires.

  • How do you get to the bolts?

  • i guess its 30 mins per rim, instead of 30 mins for 4 wheels? :) nice resut for low ost though, could do that in evening or so :) or several evenings ofc :)
