A great little water filter for backpacking/hiking/camping etc. Means you can carry less bottled water on your back! Good for approx 7000 litres per filter (replacement filters are also available).

  • I cant not tell you how much I hate this filter! It take superman strenght to get water. I could put about 1 liter every 3 min at full power and when I needed to pump 6liters the last ones took me about 6 min a liter. Please dont waste your money or time pumping with this. Check out the msr autoflow for groups and the sawyer 3 way inline filter for solo hikes. Superlight and NO PUMPING

  • Hi, great review, I was wondering if you have considered doing a video of a field demo? How is the filter holding up a year down the line, have you had any problems with it? I'm looking to buy a filter pump and have been researching the MSR miniworks and the Katadyn Mini and just cannot seem to come to a decision.

  • Take a look at the Katadyn Pocket, it's the ultimate filter.. if you got the caps that will say, it's quiiite expensive.

  • How often do you have to do a field cleaning? I like how the "dirty" hose goes up into the bottom compartment. I hate the hassle of the Pur/Katadyn Hiker which I've had since 1996, by the way. Every pumping is like a wrestling match with an octopus, having to bag each hose to keep them from contaminating each other. Would have been nicer if you could've demo-ed it in action. Good vid otherwise. Like.

  • Nice unit. But must add, I can't wait until you get a tripod, lol.

  • Hi mate I like your vids. I am really into my wild camping. Are you a Londoner by any chance?

  • great little filter, safe and simple mate....good vid
