@candw87 the first time the word Christian is mention in the Bible is in Acts 11:26 and after that many more times the word is mentioned.But the word Christian means basically a follower of Christ, So when Jesus said follow me, He meant be a follower of Himself which later is used a Christian, So.. yes Jesus calls us to become Christians to be His followers to be following in His footsteps and to preach and teach what He taught .

Lets keep a civil tongue and an open mind. People gather at the river for baptismal. I am Catholic--I was baptised at three days old--under a roof near a baptismal fountain. I don't recall (haha) the incident.

The Baptists here in Canada have modenised. They now have a heated fountain at the back of the church, however they still do gether at the river on certain occasions. Is it reall all that bad to believe that the water cleanses the soul of sin? I believe in salvation and the hereafter.

I'm Christian--thus I'm hoping to get to heaven--via Jesus. He`ll decide! As for other religions--not my call to judge them! Going to bed--will get back tomorrow nite!

@duhme18 starve your mind and eyes of lustful girls, then set your mind on Christ, get into the Word daily, read the Bible and pray to God for you to overcome this.
