I recently tested an e-zip mountain bike and was VERY impressed with it and it only cost $250.00!!! @ wal mart. It goes about 20 MPH stock but a buddy of mine has done some simple mods and it will go between 28 and 32 MPH & travel about 25 miles with one battery pack if you install another it has right at about twice the range minus a few miles which is great for commuting

There are other manufacturers that are cheaper I'll admit. But it gets 70 miles to the charge (Vs the usual 35) better battery too. However if I added 2 grand I could get an electric highway ready motorcycle so I can concur on the pass decision... I wonder where this is manufactured, cause the cheap $600 bikes I've seen were made in China and India. Perhaps these are made in the USA? If so then the price is understandable.

These are great bikes but you try buying them here in England, I have been trying to buy an Urban Cruiser for the last 6 months everyone has nice pictures of them on thier websites but when you talk to them they all say the same WE CANT GET THEM. then they try and palm you off with another model. Maybe I will stick with my car...

Yes, yes, YES. If I could buy one of these, or build one myself, I WILL invest in it. I love cycling, but I also love getting around places sweat free too, sooo.
