  • Ripper all the way!...check out him diong Abigail live;)

  • The only thing you can blame Owens on is the vocals. He didn't write the song. Schaffer did. Yeah, Ripper's singing isn't like Barlow's, but what else were they going to do? Barlow left. Schaffer was stuck without a singer and half an album to do. To me, Owens is a great guy. He helped complete Glorious Burden and whatnot. Frankly, if he hadn't have come in, Iced Earth might've broken up right then.

  • ICED EARTH WITHOUT MATT=MAN WITHOU BALLS..BUT RIPPER HAVES BEATIFULL VOICE FOR THIS SONG...:)

  • @Harris2133 I agree with you about Matt...But when it comes to technical I think Ripper is a better Vocalist.Even Stu is a great one!

Its all about the vibe of the song! :)

  • @Harris2133

    Well said.

  • I really prefer that singer

  • this version sucks big time... and it's not the matter of comparing the vocalists. Anyway, it makes me fucking sick when I see comments like :"Ripper is better in hitting the high tones, and Barlow is better in singing low..." Anyone who knows even a bit of singing will know that the fact isn't in "hitting some hi/lo notes", the thing is in the interpretation of the song. And by that, with all due respect to Tim Owens, I think Matt Barlow has no equal. He left his trademark in IE

  • @megapurify almost all metal guitarists use them. most of these songs sound horrible without at least some muting.

  • Upset that they didn't include the clock ticking in the background at the end

  • no emotion at all..just metal metal and metal. He fucked the song.

  • Both Ripper and Barlow are awesome. Ripper hits the high notes better and Barlow for lower pitches. It all depends on the song. Ice Earth ftw!
