Looks like the GMC ran the red light and hit the Taurus turning left on their green arrow.

@biglittlejujitsuman If it was an amber arrow (which you don't know that it was) it means the light for the opposing traffic would still be red. You can still legally enter an intersection on an amber light. The purpose is to allow traffic to stop in time for the red, or if they cannot stop, proceed through the intersection. None of this matters anyways since it was stated the light was red for the SUV.

@ClubCrew it had an flashing amber but thats not safe to go however if you crash and run your in trouble either way

@biglittlejujitsuman Yes I came across the original video a long time ago. Notice how after the collision suddenly the pack of cars waiting at the red light go when it finally turns green? There is no way this was the white car drivers fault. The other driver ran a red, didn't even attempt to avoid the collision and then proceeds to take off after hitting the white car. GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY

@ClubCrew wrong the original poster did not leave a comment he isnt on youtube also there was no filter light the red car shouldnt have ran but it had a green light

@biglittlejujitsuman How was the white car at fault? You can assume that he had a green turn arrow just by the video, but the original poster of this video added a description saying so. He also went on to say the red SUV ran after hitting the car. Learn your facts before posting stupid comments.

it appears the red SUV ran the red light... in most intersections, turn lanes are given green lights first and then straight lanes. The SUV was the only car going straight, few seconds later, a group of cars enter the intersection giving the impression that the light turned green. Also, the red SUV made no attempt to stop and avoid the collision while the white car at least made the attempt to sharpen the turn to avoid the hit but it was too late.
