We have built a wood stove water heater for our fish farm. the temps are droping and we will see how this heater works.

  • If the water drops below 70 degrees the Tilapia will stress and stop eating and growing. If the water drops below 55 degrees the tilapia will die. This heater is bringing up the temperature of 1200 gallons of water at a rate of 5 degrees per day. once we get to 80 degrees we will begin testing how long we need to fire the stove each day!
