Sam Wineman - Musical of the Living Dead

This proposal was originally my entry for the Olympus PEN your story challenge.

I may have lost this contest but I went on to win the U.C. Berkeley Department of Music's annual Musical Theater prize. The full-length zombie musical, titled "New Year's Kiss," opened May 7th, 2011 to a sold out audience. It was similar to this concept video in that it satirized the zombie genre, but it also addressed issues of equality and discrimination when the main character and his boyfriend have to find each other in a post-apocalyptic world.
