Sam Mendes has proven himself as a truly visionary director with just five films. Each of them covering vastly different genres with their own unique traits and themes. 'American Beauty' being his suburban drama, 'Road To Perdition' his crime film, 'Jarhead' his war film, and so on and so forth. This is a trait that is difficult to come by with most directors. The kind who are willing to explore various forms of style and story to expand their horizons. Mendes does this so well whilst also deeply involving the audience with his leading characters. That was something that I really wanted to capture for this tribute. I hope you all enjoy it.
My next director tribute will be released sometime in August. Hint: Nature and grace

It's been a long, long time since I have seen a film by Sam Mendes. Before I saw this tribute, I thought Sam Mendes was a really great filmmaker. But after seeing this video, my opinion has changed. Sam Mendes is an EXTREMELY EXCELLENT AND VERY HYPNOTIC filmmaker! Infinite kudos, heresjohnny1991!!!

Scorsese, definitely.
I have to say, this one was probably the most touching of your videos. That song, 'Wait" fits perfectly in this. Amazing job.
