@samkid882 Yaknow, ive realised at this point, that EVERYONE says that Eraserhead belongs in a differant genre, and no one agrees with eachother, so as far as im concerned, yes its horror. You can categorize it however you like, my opinion does not affect yours, im kind of tired of people acting like it does.

Thanks for doing this review. great surreal movie but left me feeling utterly depressed and full of despair. I guess that was the point

The movie was a bit odd but still fascinating.

I don't think Lynch really has an interperetation for this movie.
I get the idea he just did it that way deliberately for the sole purpose of freaking people out. "Yeah. A puppet made from a calf fetus ought to fuck with them"

@b0mbcityrocker 6.man in the planet laughes as fate all went like it was shown from the opening scene. the lady in the radiator never physically existed, it was his peaceful image of death. nor did the man in the planet physically exist.

@b0mbcityrocker 5.next time henry sees her shes with some other guy(slimey looking) and when she looks at him all she can think about is the premature baby which is why she sees him with the baby head. baby laughs as henry feels lost. only way out is to kill the baby he thinks to himself. he kills it and its big epic death is his horror of what hes done and the remorse. he kills himself(not shown) and you see the babyhead planet shatter and henry is with the radiator lady

@b0mbcityrocker 4.later henry sees a box with a hard worm thing, i think this represents a wedding ring. then the dream when his head pops off is him dreaming his image is being replaced by the baby(everyone thinks of the baby when they look at him and the baby head looks like it was birthed out his neck hole which looked like a vag). then the pencil scene, i think is like his dream of "being erased, easily forgotten". henry has an affair with his neighbor and she sees the baby.

the acting in the movie is great, the actors expressions tell the story for you. the dialogue is minimal. buts its because of how much the movie relies on subtext. i have to say that i think you did a poor review, even though you gave it an ok rating i'd rate it higher, but you didn't go in depth to anything about the movie explaining much.

@b0mbcityrocker THANK YOU, im so sick of people bitching and moaning about my rating while not judging my review by its own merits. Im glad someone out there can give some constructive criticism.
