Making Beignets at the the famous Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand which was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. Beignets are square French -style doughnuts, lavishly covered with powdered sugar.

  • My friend just got back from New Orleans and brought me a bag of these things from this moring. Dear Lord, are they good! There's loads of powdered sugar on them that makes them especially yummy. Lordy, I do not think I would last long eating these every day. I'd be in a sugar coma.

  • @javajunkie101 I stayed in the French Quarter for 2 weeks and had 3 every morning. They are even more delicious when they are fresh!
