why doesn't he have this type of music on his albums. all the albums I have listened to previews of are so generic sax music now days. He is definitely one of the best, but it's hidden in his albums.

I'm almost a 30 year vet in playing the alto sax. Gerald is a BEAST. He plays the sax like there is no tomorrow. He uses some simple things in an arrangement that makes them unique and he uses some difficult notes to the point they sound simple. Only can be done by the best with lots of practice. No mouthpiece or sax can get you over the top unless you have what it takes to put into it from serious practice. However, the jumbo java vandoran mouthpiece is excellent in my opinion 45 series.
