Most democratic countries reformed their health care a long time ago.
finally America is getting with the times.
-
Ironically this video makes the case AGAINST socialized health care without even realizing it.
Burger places are in the free market and forced to compete for customers money, think about how nice and big of a burger you can get for just $1 nowadays. Just like so many other things left in the free market the quality has gone up while the price came down (cell phones, computers, laser eye surgery...)
now think of the places where government is involved Healthcare, college, and housing...FAIL

It won't be an option if it passes. $250k fine and up to 5 years in jail if you decide to opt out of the plan

Get out of your room and quit wacking off to pictures of Hussein and Keith Olberman.
A MANDATE is the Gov'ment FORCING you to do something against your will.
Thats a fact, Jack.
Dismissed.
Exactly how it works. Great video! Today a friend went to pick up a prescription for her son. (It's over $100 and his life depends on it) Surprise! The insurance company no longer pays for it and she is getting billed for the months since they made that decision. I went to a doctor. 4 months later I got a bill because the doctor was no longer on the list of approved providers, yet he was on the list they gave me at the time. Who hasn't experienced things like this? Still loyal, eh wingnuts?

An important part of the reform is that everyone is required to have health care at all times. But another way to look at it is that everyone is given healthcare at all times. You can't wait to buy insurance under the new plan because you always have it. Further, about being forced. Yes, you are forced to pay for roads, bridges, schools, teachers, lawyers, policemen, and firemen. Do you want to opt-out of that too?
