  • The secret in his tone is not the guitar nor the microphone.. It's the microphone-stand!

  • @cohenj45 This guy has great feeling and phrasing. It just sounds similar to things he's played before because he, like many blues greats, is mostly using the pentatonic scale and he's pulling out some timeless blues licks. Blues is all about getting that feeling and mood and he does exactly that. There's actually a few really sweet licks like the one around 3:13 that I really dig.

  • Hell yes. This is pretty much my ideal lead guitar tone. Looks like I'll have some saving up to do.

  • @cohenj45 Usually every guitarist tends to sound the same when it comes to improvisation, and I got the same problem. It's difficult to improve without sounding the same like...

  • Why is it that every guitar you play, and everything song that you play, sound exactly the same?

  • @mrnikko419 Yeah I definitely agree. It's been 8 months since I said that and my opinions have definitely changed.

  • @xxguitarhero48xx I honestly mean no offense to you, but in my opinion, any guitarist who doesn't include guitars with humbuckers in his arsenal is seriously limiting his tonal possibilities.

  • Hey Greg - I'm curious as to where you get your jam tracks? And what gauge strings are you using most often? Sound good man thankd for posting.

  • I've I ever feel the desire to get Gibson, or anything with humbuckers, this is the one.

  • i like how your microphone stand is a teddy bear. very awesome! by the way, nice playing and guitar
