hmm...I get what you mean. But Saori isn't really trying to make people think she's a good singer. She just wants to sound cool, but I do agree with you :)

@KeroCalftw In electronica, I agree that it's to make a robotic effect first and foremost and plenty of people who use autotune can sing. But if you listen to a live performance of Saori@Destiny, another Japanese synthpop singer, she really /can't/ sing and only is tolerable with autotune.

Actually Perfume has been around since 2001 (before they even met Yasutaka Nakata) while Aira Mitsuki has only been around since 2007. If you're going to call someone ignorant then at least get your facts right.

I love the song. The video bothers me though just because her face seems so...unreal.

Is it just me or does she seem very awkward and uneasy in this video? Her body movements (outside the obvious mimicking of a doll gait) and facial expressions seem.. hesitant? Not that I don't like the video.. maybe that is what she was going for?
