  • Yes, we made this film before the 1954 was re released and became a best seller for Levi LVC XX. I'm not sure if the 1954 was brought about to represent a 'carrot' fit and was considered to have been customised ? Hence the zip.

  • Your right it is Lee Morgan/Art Blakey. We have a few other years to add now, including an 1873 and 1954. Glad you liked it. wwwEleven-shop.co.uk

  • Wonderful display of levis history. Would be nice to see a 201 added to the video. Was that Lee morgan playing in the music?

  • Glad your liking them. The 55's are nice and boxy, are you shrinking them or keeping them rigid ?

  • 1947 is legendary. Thank you for this.

  • The 1947 is a big favourite of ours. If you like the fit you could try the 1967 505 which is similar if not little neater and higher in the waist and the bonus of no shrinkage as it was sanforised. Or for a comfort - straight try the 1966, 1978 and 1983. We're glad you like them. Cheers.

  • @MrSloika And how many pairs did mom turn into jean shorts one the knees were gone out of them? :)

  • Amazing stuff. I've just started getting into denim, over the past few months, and this video just put me over the top, Where can I get jeans that have that high quality? Specifically, the '47s. I just noticed that my Civilianaire has a selvedge watch pocket, but it was a pain finding those. I appreciate any help.

  • I saw a lady wearing something like this. It was highish rise and looked like a guy jeans, and seemed like it has a cinch thing. She looked amazing. But I didn't feel like asking her what jeans she had. It had a big looking Levi tag.

  • When I was a boy back in the 1970's, my mother would buy unwashed 505's for me at Sears (in the work clothes section). I believe the regular price was $20...$15 on sale. All were true to size and made in the USA. Now it's all become some kind of fashion science; numerous styles, colors, etc made out of crap material by slaves in Asia and Africa. Can't even find a pair of new, unwashed 505's that fit properly. It's shameful.

  • c est pas des authentiques?? la couture de la jambe ne tourne pas.en plus ils sont trop brut!!!c est pas possible

  • why 1947 red tab have register logo?

  • Levi's first used zip fly in 1954 on the 501, it was changed to button because of shrinkage issues.
