Hidden Marking by UV Marker Edding 8280To avoid disputes which may take place during warranty or maintenance periods in case of alleged covert substitution of parts it is enough to mark these parts beforehand with hidden marking. Such marking can be easily done by means of a UV marker. Let's see it on the example of UV marker Edding 8280 manufactured in Germany. It is designated to mark any surfaces -wooden, glass, metal, cardboard, plastic, ceramics, etc - with hidden inscriptions. The body of the marker is made of aluminum and has bullet point tip. It is filled up with special indelible inks which are visible only in UV light. The inscription is made in usual way similar to any other marker or felt-tip pen. To see the inscription a UV source of light will be required: a special torch, a lamp or a currency detector. For more effective use the UV marking should be applied to hidden locations. If the inscription is exposed to sunlight or cleaning chemicals, it is necessary to update it every 2 months. This kind of marking doesn't make the good look less attractive. So, it is indispensible for inventory and registration of apparatus in manufacturing, to protect various valuable objects of property of private persons as well as organizations, from boxes to tiny components.
