  • Where made that video? It looks like a street of Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife, Canary Islands

  • alos, irish dancers have two sets of shoes, hard and soft shoe, this is hardshoe.

  • ...just to add a little something to what's already been said, we Irish dancers have fiberglass tips on our shoes instead of taps, another little difference :) but I do like tap dancing as well :)

  • @devil8988 I'm in agreement with @goose398 as well. Irish dancing and tap dancing have that same general concept- getting the sound out of your feet. But Irish dancing is a little more difficult. Tap dancers can more or less freely move their arms, while Irish dancers isolate their arms at their sides. But you do see Irish dancers lifting their arms a lot in Ceili (or group) dances. By my opinion, Irish dance is way cooler, but I'm an Irish dancer myself...so that's my first choice :)

  • @goose398 thank you just didn't know if it was the same as tap dancing...so thanks!

  • @devil8988 me too! nah, tap dancers don't have taps on the front of the shoe - just the ball and heel.....

  • Irish Excellent (I'm irish also.) Is irish dancing the same thing as tap-dancing?

  • When do they come to the U.S.?
