As far as voting goes, people are free to vote for whoever can get on the ballot in the US. One thing I don't agree with is lobbying which should be completely outlawed in the US, but our politicians can be voted out of office if they go against their constituency; in China, if you don't like what the CCP is doing, it's just too bad. As a Chinese citizen, you are powerless to have any real impact on decision-making process.
Did you watch "Battle of China, Part 1" on youtube? It is a very old documentary but still gives some insight into the fact that Americans generally like the Chinese people (I do), but I don't like your communist government.
@DontBuyChinese You still don't see that America in under the umbrella of a phony democracy? Who's on the government's priority list? Banks, corporations, weapon contractors. these industries are controlling America and its future, not American people. Your representatives only represent people who donates to their campaign. wtf is that? thats fucking public bribery, and its perfectly legal wth?
@DontBuyChinese I know pirior to WWII US had no animosity with china and thats because the Nationalist government then had deals with USA that benefitted American investors in China. Once Communist China came to control, previous business deal were abolished. American investor lost their grasp in Chinese land and Chinese people actually took control of the mainland, thats why US started targeting China.
@DontBuyChinese Check out "Elections in the People's Republic of China" this is the mainland china not taiwan. you will read something Murdock wont want you to see.
@DontBuyChinese Actually, Chinese officials ARE elected. Elections occurs at local villages, and different locals in different areas. Once at higher offices, and they wish to continue their career they will need to climb ladders with their experience just like your government. How the heck do you give your self power? The only country where royalties can give themself power and money is Saudi Arabia, UAE who has a absolute monarchy system. and guess what? They are America's best friend

China has elections at low levels of government, not at the level of the people with the real power.
