As far as this video, the defensive play Swift made against Kidd at the end of the Nets game @ New Jersey from this same season was even more impressive. Nets broadcaster Kelly Tripuka used the telestrator to show how Stromile played perfect defense and Kidd threw the ball away. Interestingly, Kidd drew a $25,000 fine after that game complaining about the officiating, but it was a great defensive play by Swift.

@dimedropper1992 The laziest player I've ever seen among his teammates was Juwan Howard. Juwan never improved from the day he got into the league. You could see the growth in Stromile's game from year to year, and the last few years, you could see him take starting PF's to the hole with either his left or right hand... look at videos like "Stromile Swift dunks on Luis Scola" if you don't believe it...

@dimedropper1992 Stromile butted heads with his coaches. Nothing to do with being lazy or not trying. The only time he wasn't the best defensive player on whatever team he was on was the one year he played with Dikembe Mutombo of the Rockets.
