i don't agree w/ marriage for myself personally either. but hey LGBT people have every right to be in a miserable lifetime commitment as heteronormative peoples. i also thnk that you dont need a ring or a piece of paper to show that you are commited to anything or anyone. but those are my 2 cents. if you believe you can be a responsible matre adult and maintain monogamy for the length of your lifetime then go for it! -Jakob

@BonesDGAF021 I do think that gay people, straight people, whoever the hell should have the right to get married. The problem is that the intense focus on the issue comes at the expense of more important issues. I don't understand why we can't take up other fights with equal vigor as the marriage fight.

Dude you're so right about homeless youth. I'm in high school and so many of my friends who are gay have been either kicked out, or abused to the point where they have to leave. Even though I live in Canada it's almost the same. Kids have to find a place by themselves or they get moved between group homes. When none of those are options they end up out on the streets. I do feel that this is more important than prop 8 because it concerns kids who cant fight for themselves the same way adults can.
