Demoing the Saga LC-10 kit I bought, and then fitted with Seymour Duncan Hot-Rodded Humbucker set (SH-4 JB Model in bridge position, SH-2n Jazz Model in neck position). Played thru a Vox AD15VT amp.

  • Hi mate- realize your video was awhile back but curious if you remembe what kind of strings you were using here. Thanks!

  • Probably D'Addario

  • Did you add a finish like a clear coat or anything or did you just pull it out of the box and make it?

  • @DrGuitar72 - Initially, just put it together. Then replaced the tuners and pickups. Then took it apart and painted it white, then put it back together again :-) Go to Flickr and search for my username, "coldnebraskablue", you'll see all the photos from the paint job.

  • how's the action on it?

  • @alanr1995 - Reasonable. After a bit of tinkering. I'm no expert at that sort of thing. Filed the nut slots down a bit, they were quite high.

  • How is the Intonation?

  • What amplifier are you using?

  • @xTonyyy Hmmm k, I hope the local luthier can do it for me xD I'm not for this kind of work :P I don't have the craftsmanship or the patience. anyways thanks dude.

  • @Motopsycho96 Yes, Have a look into stains. The key is to read before you take action and spoil anything. You get many different stains (colours), And then you'd finish it with a few layers of lacquer and then buff it. I own a DBZ Bolero in Trans wine :)

  • Hey bro, is there any way to get a see-thru wine red finnish? Cuz I might buy the kit and well... I would love it in wine red and natural binding...

  • when you were playing clean, you played so many beautiful chords :D i have no idea what they are :E

  • @himfrom1994 yes. anything added on to this guitar or any of the "saga guitar kits" you would have to solder them in.

  • @1pixle if you haven't resolved this yet, I suggest soldering the electronics instead of clicking them together. That's probably what's causing it.
