PLEASE google 'unnecessary paps blogcritics' and read, read, READ
This is NOT a 'minor' procedure, it is often unnecessary (as HPV resolves itself over 90% of the time) ... this procedure causes various problems that can lead to infertility as well as problems carrying a child to term.
So many women have allowed their cervix to be mutilated without really understanding the risks ... and that Cervical Cancer is RARE!!!

@obgynmedical I gota question for you. I have post ablation syndrome and cervical stenosis with hematometra. I DO NOT want a hysterectomy and dilations never stay. What other options do I have?? Hysterectomy for me is NOT an option. I want my stenosed cervix fixed so my periods come out instead of needing percutanueos drainage( I was an RN so I know the terms)

@grettagrids
Tryed osmotic dilators ( alga basic) ? Consult an experienced gyn surgeon, a cerviacal plastical procedure is an option with local estrogens applied. Good luck.
